D of E supervising

Well this weekend I'm out supervising a D of E Bronze expedition.

It's not all bad though - the rain has stopped and the sun has come out, the kids aren't getting lost, and we're just about to have lunch in a very nice pub that does GF food I can eat. Lovely!

Another day walking

Currently just sat waiting for a minibus to turn up and take us all to Wales!

Lunch in a sheepfold

Well I'm in Wales on hill hiding from the wind.

This would be day one of a Walking Group Leader course.
We'll be here again later in the dark and cold.

No Walking This Weekend

Well, we've had to cancel this weekend's walking trip.

We were going to take some of the youth group out on a teaching walk as a first step towards D of E Award, but several didn't return consent forms, some didn't want to go in this heat, and one went home ill tonight so wouldn't be well to walk tomorrow.

Though looking on the bright side, now I'll be at home to watch the football!
